I added more recent pic on the header of the blog.
Heres a view of the windlass, I will have to off set it to line the chain and finish the back end of the cone to hold the swivel.
I have also ordered the 30kg Bruce for test fitting.
I also have to place and strengthen the cleats for the bow and cut fairleads to let the ropes out.
I have to say, its getting there. !!

Great to see someone taking on such a project.I have considered doing similar for quite a while. run a steel processing business and am investigating opportunities to supply boat kits. Do you mind me asking ..where did you get the kit from...? Did it fit together well ?
